| I decided it was about time to update Xanga again. I've been a member of this site for over 5 years. That's pretty awesome. The New Year is almost here and I think 2010 will be a bigger year than 2009. I'll be graduating in May with my B.A. in International Business. It doesn't seem real that I will have a college degree. By this time next year i'll hopefully be in South Carolina applying to attend the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business to start my IMBA. I'll edit this later, I got bored after one paragraph! I'm watching Burn Notice, it's a good t.v. show. | | |
| I don't know what has lured me back into your Xanga. Probably because I am not a big fan of blogging because I never have anything super interesting to write, but here we go again. It's been about a year and a half since I came back to Xanga and there are many stories to tell, all for which I do not have the time to go into detail. Here are some brief highlights of my life this past year.
I've decided, even though I don't have the money, to see the world a bit. By world, I mean the U.S., and by U.S. for some reason I mean the East Coast. Anytime I go on a trip, that is seemingly where I end up. I went to New York City last Christmas for the New Year's Eve ball dropping, and not to ruin it, but it was utterly disappointing. Not to mention I had to soak up the blood from my ears when I was forced to listen to the Jonas Brothers sing for the event. I met a lot of cool people, whom you can see below. It was definetly an experience I will cherish, but one I will not be doing again. Although I say that, I am going back to NYC for New Year's Eve this year, but I will not be in Time Square watching the ball drop. I will be in some bar, drinking, with onlookers.
This past year on my trip around the east coast, I visited a friend (twice!) in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The first time around, myself and my friend Ashton went to Myrtle Beach to explore the wildress of the ocean. It was cold, we didn't swim much, or at all, for that matter. I went again a few weeks ago to visit my friend as she is actually on her way back to Oklahoma as we speak (should be arriving about 9pm tonight). She has my Tom Tom aka "Alice" as my friends have deemed. I'll be seeing her in my hometown on Sunday at some point, before seeing her again the following weekend in Oklahoma City while visiting my sister! Woohoo!
Ending my trip on the east coast, I am now officially a Senior in College. After I get my transcript from Tulsa Community College sent over to NSU I will be applying for a final degree check to see if I really meet all the creteria and to see if I will be having to stress in another class or TWO this semester (let's hope not). I'll be driving to Broken Arrow twice a week with my friend Ashton, whom I might add is another Ashton ;), for International Econ and Finance classes.
This past summer was quite fantastic and quite awful in the same sense. In June of last year I got a new 2008 Ford Focus which was the coolest in the world, about a month ago, a lady totaled my car. Now I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox, which I love also. Her name is Sally. I don't know why, but that's what I've named it. I went out drinking a lot with friends and just hanging out because that is what you do during the summer. A lot of my friends left me this summer because they went off and did their own thing thousands of miles away, but I guess that's life and we just have to get used to it.
This weekend I'll be floating the river and hanging out with my sister and her friends in a cabin on the river. It should be a fun friday/saturday day. Then Saturday evening I will be drinking it up with my aunt and uncle, sister, and her fiance, boyfriend, husband, babydaddy, whatever you want to call it, while playing cards and hopefully eating fried raviolli(sp?). Monday I have both an orthodontist appointment and a dentist appointment. I haven't been doing everything 100% because I can't find the charger to my electronic tooth brush so I hope I've been brushing well enough. We will find out! Sunday I'll be relaxing and hopefully eating well with my sister and her food stamps, bahaha!
Taking a trip on the spiritual sense in my life, I think it's true when they say college makes you apathetic to religion. I find myself loving God, but not showing it, although I'm the President in a Christian Fratnerity which could seem quite awful. I really need to find myself back in His kingdom and doing things for Him instead of myself. Hopefully my friends can keep me accountable to this.
This school year should bring things both fun and sad, but happy and crappy(haha). We will find out, maybe i'll update this thing moreso.

| Wowzers! Haven't used this thing in so long! Last night I went to watch the Harlem Gospel Choir with Ashton, Kaiti, and Casey. It was pretty great. I got to get up on stage and dance with them. They are amazing singers. You must google them! This weekend has been bland. I went to bed around 4am after attempting to finish all my homework. I proceeded to get up at 3:23 in the afternoon after orginally waking up at 10am. I'm writing this at 3:47am and I will definetly wake up around 10am tomorrow as I will want to go each lunch with my friends and finish the last bit of homework before the Superbowl Party. Not a lot has been going on in college, I switched from a Finance Major to a Computer Science Major. I don't even know if I want to do to that. I need to invest a lot more time into learning this kind of stuff. That is my new Year's Resolution! There are so many great people and the only way I am going to learn is if I do it over and over and over. The current page i'm working on is www.stebz.org . It's a site for Sigma Theta Epsilon Beta Zeta Chapter here at Northeastern State University. I've gotten into online forums quite a bit over this past year and I visit a few regularly. Christian Forums is a great site and I like to visit the Unorthodox Religions. I also visit a forum called inallthingslove.net the forum is great if you think a lot about the world. Very in depth conversations, or so one would seem. There are a few others that I visit but don't post reguarly. In the future I would love to be the webmaster of a supersite. I think that is what I will be doing with my life. The online world is inticing and I want to do something with computers, most certainly. The problem is by the time I graudate, everything will have changed. My Information Systems class has a lot of homework but I have learned a great deal and I love doing it! I think online social sites have ruin people's lives. People are so dependent upon facebook that it controls them. Thus, I have decided to shut mine down for the time being. I sometimes wonder what life would be out without Facebook and now I am doing it. Some of my friends freaked out and asked if I was okay, and that made me think even more that people love facebook and will never get over it. When facebook was down for 3 days people freaked out and asked at least 5 times a day..."Does your facebook work?" It's crazy! I am ready for a new year. A little to late aye? I bought a new computer because my old one died. I could repair it for about 200 dollars, but maybe that'll be later down the road. Then I will have two computers. That's all for now. | | |
| Oh Yeah. College is fun. Can't get enough of it.
Going to class? What is that? Just kidding, I go to all my classes except for my Tues/Thurs but why go? I have over a one hundred percent and we've already had a test. He doesn't count attendence. Everyone's doing it.. haha My accounting class? I go 2/3 times a week, usually friday is nothing, I love the teacher, I have an A. Oh Yeah.
